BedJet is a growing sleep technology brand based in the beautiful ocean front destination city of Newport, Rhode Island. BedJet designs and manufactures innovative, differentiated and highly engineered consumer products for bedrooms that improve comfort and sleep. Current product lineup includes the worlds #1 best-selling and highest consumer rated cooling, warming and sweat drying climate comfort system just for beds, and the world’s thinnest and most compact motion adjustable bed frame technology.
BedJet was founded as a digitally native ecommerce DTC company and has grown every year since first shipping product in 2015. The company is now selling in over 40 countries, including USA, Canada, EU, UK and Australia. The company maintains all functions critical to ecommerce DTC sales success with an experienced in-house team, with little dependence on outside agencies. This in-house team supports all digital media production including video, website development and management, all social media and PPC advertising and all influencer/affiliate programs.
Until the first half of 2024, company sales were primarily online via BedJet.com and Amazon. In 2024 the company launched a multi-year initiative to transition into omni-channel sales, with a focus on growth via resellers and brick-and-mortar retailers. The product was most recently successfully launched in Best Buy stores in mid-November 2024.
Position Summary:
As BedJet moves into its next chapter of growth, the Founder/CEO is looking for an experienced, energetic, and results-oriented Growth Marketing Manager to join the sales and marketing team. At BedJet, every employee has an equity stake in the company and the Growth Marketing Manager position would be no exception. The company is owned jointly by the Founder and private equity investors.
At BedJet, the Growth Marketing Manager will own the paid search channels, website conversion rate optimization program, landing pages, and reporting. The role will work cross-functionally to increase the profit per visitor on the website, and increase the efficiency and revenue of our paid advertising campaigns with regular reporting of results.
This in-office role is located in Newport, RI. Remote applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the planning and execution of ecommerce go-to-market campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
• Manage and optimize paid search channels
• Manage the conversion rate optimization program
• Utilize internal and external design teams for landing page creation, optimization, and continuous A/B testing to improve ad campaign performance
• Maintain marketing performance reports, documentation of results, insights, and best practices.
• Remain current with digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices, applying new insights to enhance campaign performance
Knowledge/Skills:
· Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple campaign elements and timelines
· Proficiency in tracking, analyzing, and reporting campaign performance results
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Education and Experience:
· A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or an equivalent field
· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ecommerce growth or digital marketing role, ideally within a digital marketing agency or a DTC consumer product company
· Proficiency in conversion rate optimization testing and associated tools
· Hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns across at least 2 major digital media ad platforms (Google, Amazon, Microsoft)
· Experience working cross functionally to build landing pages and A/B testing tests
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 base salary per year commensurate with education and experience; quarterly incentive plan
