As a Growth Marketing Manager, you'll be a key player in driving our brand's expansion, utilizing a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and analytical prowess. Core Competencies β€’ Paid Media Expertise (Meta & Google): Deep understanding of full-funnel ad campaign creation and execution, with a focus on Meta and Google platforms. Ability to monitor performance and adjust spend effectively. β€’ Creative Ideation & Briefing: Strong aptitude for developing compelling creative concepts and providing detailed feedback for video and image ads, ensuring brand consistency. β€’ AI Fluency (ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.): Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for marketing, including generating creative output and improving efficiency. (Note: It's important to balance AI use with authentic brand voice to avoid "canned" content). β€’ Email Marketing Strategy & Execution: Expertise in revamping and managing underperforming email marketing programs for premium brands, including calendar management, campaign design, and execution of an "edutainment strategy." β€’ Agency & Vendor Management: Proven ability to coordinate and manage external partners (e.g., ad agencies, SEO agencies, development agencies) to ensure performance without micromanaging. This includes setting meeting intervals, providing detailed feedback, and coordinating strategic alignment. β€’ Analytics & Performance Reporting (MEPR, ROAS, CAC, etc.): Skilled in tracking, reporting, and forecasting performance across paid media and overall business metrics. Focus on key KPIs, including regular monitoring of sales and ad performance trends through tools like Triple Whale and Shopify Analytics. Ability to create custom reports. β€’ Cross-functional Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams (e.g., CEO, development, product) and external partners. β€’ Initiative & Resourcefulness: Capability to operate independently, drive outcomes, and communicate clearly under pressure. Proactive in identifying and implementing new marketing tools. Role-Specific Responsibilities Paid Ads & Agency Management β€’ Coordinate with Ad Agency for ongoing adjustments in spend and performance monitoring. β€’ Provide detailed feedback and approval on video ads created by agencies. β€’ Manage strategic coordination and alignment with SEO agencies, including implementation of template changes. Website & Store Management β€’ Collaborate with the development agency on template/theme modifications and site tuning. β€’ Possess a technical understanding of how developers work, including ticket reporting, QA/Validation, and use of Google Dev Tools and Page Speed Insights. β€’ Good understanding of Shopify Themes and infrastructure, including installation of new Shopify Apps. β€’ Manage Shopify store operations, including access control, theme management, creation of new products and landing pages, media asset creation (images, video, 3D assets), and deploying promotions. Email Marketing β€’ Provide guidance and oversight for email marketing efforts, balancing AI use with authentic brand voice. β€’ Manage email calendars and oversee weekly email campaign design and creation. β€’ Execute an "edutainment strategy" within email marketing. Content Creation & Branding β€’ Drive content creation (video/photography), including scripting, directing, and editing, while maintaining brand coherency and consistency. β€’ Collaborate with third-party directors for video production. β€’ Contribute to overall branding strategy and execution. Reporting & Analysis β€’ Produce quarterly "State of the Market Reports" detailing business and ad performance, search trends, and competitor analysis. β€’ Conduct forecasting for upcoming quarters. β€’ Provide quick sales and ad performance updates after promotions. β€’ Constantly monitor sales and ad performance trends at a high level (MTD, L30 days) using tools like Triple Whale and Shopify sales reports. β€’ Regularly update the Monthly MAP Marketing Google Sheet. Marketing Tools Analysis β€’ Analyze and implement new marketing tools or optimize existing ones. β€’ Familiarity with key marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Triple Whale, and Adobe Creative Suite. Social Media & Influencer Marketing β€’ Conduct competitor intelligence on Instagram (auditing ads and organic content). β€’ Engage in high-level strategy discussions regarding new influencers, partnerships, and opportunities. β€’ Contribute to deal negotiation and the creation of partnerships.
