Role description
Our client is a renowned titan among the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges with HQ in Abu Dhabi. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Growth and Ops COE Leader for growth and operational initiatives within regulated regions. This role is designed to set and execute best-in-class growth strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance while driving scalable user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
You will be responsible for aligning operational and growth functions, optimizing cross-functional execution, and ensuring operational agility across their key regulated markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies encompassing user acquisition, retention, and monetization across multiple channels - in a complex regulatory environment
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end marketing operations, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns, efficient resource allocation, and optimization of marketing technology stacks, all while ensuring that processes and systems meet the highest standards of efficiency, compliance, and scalability within regulated markets
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with product, engineering, legal, and data teams to integrate growth initiatives with regulatory frameworks, product offerings, and market insights. Provide guidance on how regulatory changes affect growth strategies and operations
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytics to monitor campaign performance, derive actionable insights, and iterate on strategies to maximize ROI.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning, while ensuring the team's understanding and integration of regulatory requirements into all processes
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership to align growth objectives with overall business goals and present regular performance updates.
Qualifications:
• At least 7+ years of experience leading growth and operational teams, with a proven track record of scaling businesses in regulated industries such as cryptocurrency, fintech, or e-commerce.
• Proven track record of building and scaling marketing initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of regional advertising regulations and experience partnering with compliance/legal teams.
• Exceptional project management skills with experience coordinating across global, matrixed teams.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing data analytics to optimize growth strategies and operational processes. Experience with CRM systems, marketing technologies, and performance optimization tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
