As we expand our Jewellery Division, we are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our business development efforts in international markets.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Head – Jewelry Division to spearhead our global sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone from the gem & jewelry industry with a strong track record of international jewelry sales and deep market insight, particularly in the US and European markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive international sales of finished jewellery.
• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with international retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
• Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with partners across target geographies.
• Analyse global market trends and customer preferences to guide product development and marketing strategies.
• Represent the company at major international trade shows and events (e.g., JCK Las Vegas, Vicenza Oro, Hong Kong Jewellery Fair).
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, marketing) to ensure alignment with market requirements.
• Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, market intelligence, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in international sales of jewellery (B2B).
• Proven track record in building and scaling jewellery businesses globally.
• Deep understanding of international jewellery markets, particularly USA and Europe.
• Strong network of industry contacts with buyers, retailers, and distributors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Must have a valid US visa and be willing and able to travel extensively to the US.
• Open to frequent international travel as part of business development.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or relevant business/marketing qualification.
• Experience working with lab-grown diamonds is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies.
