Position Title: Head of Marketing
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Albuquerque, NM (HQ)
Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 DOE
Position Summary
Our growth strategy is set by the executive teamβyour mandate is flawless execution. You will lead data analysis to guide every decisionβfrom customer acquisition cost and lifetime value to promotional effectiveness and attribution models. You will own all SEO, including technical, on page, off page and local, and oversee our web property, including CMS management, hosting performance and site updates. You will keep our retail and wholesale promotional, product launch and event calendars on track to hit revenue targets, steer packaging selection, label and brand identity, and manage all digital and print asset production. You will also support innovation initiatives through disciplined roadmap management.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards tracking sales, promotions, lifetime value, customer acquisition cost and web traffic performance
Develop and refine attribution models to pinpoint the highest-ROI channels and campaigns as spend scales
Benchmark channel productivity and measure campaign effectiveness against revenue targets
Translate complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leadership
Promotions, Launch and Event Calendars
Maintain unified calendars that align retail and wholesale promotions, product launches and events to quarterly and annual revenue targets
Coordinate cross functional teams to secure approvals, develop asset requirements and ensure on-time execution
Track budgets, surface risks and report on outcomes
SEO and Web Property Management
Execute comprehensive SEO programs across technical, on page, off page and local to drive high intent traffic and conversions
Oversee CMS updates, hosting performance and site reliability to deliver a seamless user experience
Power-user of Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz and Ahrefs to monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and conversion metrics
Implement continuous improvements based on performance data
Brand Identity, Packaging and Asset Production
Specify packaging formats, materials and suppliers and ensure compliance requirements are met
Oversee label design and brand identity updates in collaboration with our in-house designer
Manage creation, proofing, scheduling and quality control for all printed collateral such as point of purchase signage and brochures
Guide digital asset production for email, social, web and other channels to ensure brand consistency
Innovation Roadmap Management
Lead project management for innovation initiatives using a structured framework to define milestones, assign responsibilities and track progress
Facilitate regular status meetings, document decisions and escalate issues before they impact timelines or budgets
Performance Optimization
Design and run experiments such as A B tests on landing pages and promotional funnels
Analyze test results and performance data to recommend optimizations that improve return on investment
Cross Functional Collaboration
Act as the central coordinator for marketing deliverables across retail, wholesale, product, creative and technical teams
Translate requirements into clear, actionable briefs for developers, designers and external partners
Education And Experience
Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
Five years or more delivering full-spectrum SEO programs with measurable gains in traffic, conversions or foot traffic
Proven track record managing complex marketing calendars and product or event rollouts with exceptional project management discipline
Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, reporting and attribution modeling
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Expert in Power BI, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz and Ahrefs
Hands-on experience specifying packaging, overseeing label design and managing print and production vendors
Exceptional analytical mindset with a focus on using performance data to drive decisions
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries such as cannabis, CPG or wellness
Familiarity with HubSpot, Dutchie or other marketing automation and CRM platforms
Spanish language proficiency
