Job Description: Head of Sales – GBI (Liquor Division)
Position Overview The Head of Sales – Liquor Division will lead the overall sales strategy and execution for GBI’s liquor portfolio. The role will manage teams across On-Trade, Home Shopping, and E-commerce, ensuring revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, develop, and manage sales teams across On-Trade, Home Shopping, and E-commerce channels.
• Design and execute sales strategies to meet short-term and long-term business goals.
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts, distribution partners, and hospitality groups.
• Oversee pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance for smooth execution of business plans.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for the CEO and senior leadership.
• Mentor, motivate, and retain top-performing sales talent.
Requirements
• Minimum 10–12 years’ experience in liquor sales, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong background in liquor distribution with UAE experience highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of on-trade channels, e-commerce, and consumer buying behavior.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multi-channel operations.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to relocate and adapt quickly to Bahrain’s market landscape.
