We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Industrial Engineer with 2+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce and fulfillment operations. This individual will play a critical role in analyzing current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing scalable, data-driven solutions to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and a passion for process improvement in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Analyze operational workflows within equipment inspection, repair operations and warehouse operations processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, quality, cost, and service metrics.
• Lead and support Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at eliminating waste, improving cycle time, and increasing process reliability.
• Design, model, and optimize warehouse layouts, material flows, and workforce planning models to support business growth and seasonal peaks.
• Collect, interpret, and communicate operational performance data; prepare dashboards, reports, and detailed analysis for senior leadership.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity analyses, and work sampling to inform labor standards and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Fulfillment, Inventory Management, IT, and Customer Service teams to align engineering initiatives with business needs.
• Support system enhancement projects (e.g., WMS upgrades, automation deployments) with operational requirements gathering, testing, and change management.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation to ensure operational consistency.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring associates on Lean tools and methodologies.
• Perform data modeling and analytics using data from inspection, repair, and fulfillment systems to track performance, identify trends, and inform decisions.
• Build predictive models and scenario simulations to evaluate the impact of potential changes on cost, service, and capacity.
Skills Needed to be Successful:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fulfillment center operations, distribution, logistics, or eCommerce supply chain environments.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt certification preferred but not required).
• Proficient in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting software.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse automation technologies is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence operations teams and lead change initiatives.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience supporting or leading kaizen events.
• Familiarity with WMS, repair management software, and inventory tracking systems.
• Experience in labor management systems (LMS) and engineered labor standards.
• Familiarity with basic automation and AI.
Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical materials, and company policies.
• Capable of writing clear reports, professional correspondence, and procedural documentation.
• Confident in delivering information and presenting to staff, leadership, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
• Basic knowledge of applied statistics, core machine learning concepts, and AI principles is a plus (especially for data-driven retail analysis and planning).
