Future-Able is searching for an Interim COO (Contract-to-Hire) to work for:
Naked & Thriving - A fast-growing, founder-led direct-to-consumer skincare brand focused on delivering clean, effective, plant-based products backed by science. We’re passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and scaling a profitable, sustainable business.
We’ve built a loyal community, strong sales momentum, and a differentiated brand in the clean beauty space. Now we’re ready to scale to the next stage - and we’re looking for our first-ever Chief Operating Officer to help make it happen.
The Opportunity
This is a 4-month Interim COO role with the opportunity to join full-time if it’s a great fit for both sides. You’ll act as right hand to the CEO to unblock the organization, lead execution, and improve company velocity - partnering directly with leaders to strengthen the operational backbone of the company, build scalable systems, and prepare us for our next phase of growth.
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic operator who can seamlessly move between big-picture planning and day-to-day problem solving - someone who thrives in the fast-paced, entrepreneurial energy of a founder-led DTC brand.
What You’ll Do in the First 120 Days
• Assess current operational structure, processes, and performance metrics.
• Build a scalable operations roadmap covering supply chain, fulfillment, inventory, finance, and people operations.
• Implement improved forecasting, reporting, and vendor management processes.
• Align cross-functional teams on priorities, accountability, and communication.
• Identify and address bottlenecks to support revenue growth and profitability goals.
• Establish performance metrics across functions, enabling us to track, analyze, and optimize the results of our strategic and operational decisions. Ensure data-driven decision-making that translates key business activities into measurable outcomes.
• Partner with HR and Finance to assess organizational structure, resourcing, and performance management - ensuring the company has the right people, systems, and financial discipline in place for scale.
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years proven leadership in a COO, VP Ops, or similar role scaling an e-commerce or DTC brand (beauty, skincare, or wellness strongly preferred.)
• Experience scaling founder-led businesses - and the ability to work closely with passionate, entrepreneurial leaders.
• Strong command of supply chain, e-commerce fulfillment, inventory management, project management, and operational finance.
• Ability to develop, motivate & lead teams; evaluate existing processes for improvements; identify gaps and build new processes from the ground up, and deliver measurable results quickly.
• Low-ego, high-collaboration leader who can earn trust quickly, build alignment, and bring structure without slowing entrepreneurial energy.
• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve problems while keeping an eye on long-term strategy.
What Success Looks Like
Success at the end of the 120 days looks like: a clear operational roadmap, measurable improvements in forecasting/reporting, reduced bottlenecks across the organization, and a scalable structure to support growth.
