Job Description: Seeking an IT Catalog Project Specialist for a 12-month contract position in Rochester, NY. This position is initially onsite and then will become hybrid. The IT Catalog Project Specialist plays a critical technical role in the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of product catalogs for a worldwide eCommerce platform. This position requires hands-on expertise working closely with marketing, graphic designers, software developers, product owners, and the eCommerce delivery team to create and manage high-quality product catalogs that delight customers globally. This role demands a strong technical aptitude combined with practical experience in Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Workflow systems, and scripting to automate catalog-related processes. The Catalog Project Specialist is responsible for writing SQL queries, developing scripts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless catalog integration and deployment within the Direct To Consumer (D2C) retail environment. Skills: • 5+ years overall IT experience • 3+ years of experience working with e-commerce or D2C platforms (PIM, DIM, retail, catalog) • 3 years SQL experience • 3 years scripting experience • 2 years APIs integration experience • 2 years Javascript experience • Experience with Akeneo PIM, Bynder DAM, and Workato or similar workflow automation tools (preferred) • Experience with photofinishing and printing industry (preferred) • Bachelor s Degree (preferred)
