Role description
Evergreen Enterprises is a leading manufacturer of home and garden dΓ©cor, proudly offering one of the worldβs largest selections of meaningful and expressive products. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Jr. Digital Designer to join our in-house E-Commerce team.
This entry-level role is ideal for someone excited to grow their digital design skills while supporting a dynamic portfolio of both B2C and B2B brands. The Jr. Digital Designer will work closely with the Marketing & Creative Strategist to produce visual assets for email campaigns, website content, social media, digital ads, and seasonal promotionsβwith the opportunity to learn drag-and-drop email editors and create content that performs well across digital platforms.
This is a full-time role based in Richmond, VA, with opportunities to develop both creatively and technically within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Design & Content Creation
β’ Design visual assets for email marketing, including banners, modules, product features, and promotional CTAs
β’ Assist in building marketing emails using drag-and-drop editors (e.g., HubSpot), learning how content, layout, and design drive engagement
β’ Create compelling, platform-optimized content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
β’ Design promotional graphics and homepage features for Shopify websites and landing pages
β’ Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and paid media with relevant, engaging visuals
β’ Format and resize creative assets to ensure brand consistency across channels and screen sizes
Collaboration & Execution
β’ Work closely with the Marketing & Creative Strategist to interpret creative briefs and execute design deliverables
β’ Collaborate with the Creative, E-Commerce, and Social Media teams to ensure cross-channel visual alignment
β’ Organize and maintain a shared library of design assets, photography, and reusable templates
β’ Participate in weekly planning meetings and creative reviews
Brand Stewardship
β’ Learn and apply the distinct voice, tone, and aesthetic of each Evergreen brand
β’ Understand different customer personas and design with each audience in mind
β’ Ensure visual consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines
Qualifications
β’ 0β2 years of professional design experience or a strong portfolio of internship or academic work
β’ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Canva or Figma experience a plus
β’ Interest in learning how to build emails with drag-and-drop editors like HubSpot, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp
β’ Familiarity with creating social-first content (static and light motion) for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
β’ Curiosity about Shopify, CMS tools, and digital marketing workflows
β’ Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
β’ A team-oriented mindset and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, creative environment
