About the Role: We’re seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead customer retention and engagement strategies. This role is responsible for creating data-informed, personalized customer journeys that resonate with where they are in their purchasing journey. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Own and optimize all lifecycle flows, including welcome, post-purchase, cross-sell and loyalty sequences β€’ Build customer segments and deploy multi-channel campaigns across paid search, direct mail email and SMS β€’ Manage CRM and automation platforms and apps such as Klaviyo, ZenDesk, etc. β€’ Develop test-and-learn strategies to improve key KPIs β€’ Work cross-functionally with the brand, paid media, digital content and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience β€’ Analyze audience behavior and retention data to uncover insights and improvement opportunities Qualifications: β€’ Minimum of 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or customer engagement marketing and 8+ in Marketing β€’ Expertise in customer segmentation and trigger-based campaign design β€’ Proficiency with lifecycle marketing platforms and A/B testing tools β€’ Strong analytical skills and experience reporting on retention and lifecycle metrics β€’ Experience in e-commerce or consumer product industries preferred β€’ Minimum of 3 years of management experience Hard Skills: 1. Lifecycle Campaign Management – Designing and optimizing customer journeys including welcome, post-purchase, cross-sell, and loyalty campaigns. 1. Customer Segmentation – Developing and applying dynamic segments based on behavioral, transactional, and demographic data. 1. Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyzing retention metrics (e.g., churn, LTV, repeat rate) using tools like Google Analytics, Excel, or BI platforms. 1. Email & SMS Marketing – Hands-on experience building and deploying personalized campaigns and flows across email and SMS channels. 1. Direct Mail Campaign Execution – Knowledge of integrating and managing print-based outreach within a digital-first strategy. 1. A/B & Multivariate Testing – Setting up experiments to test messaging, offers, or design to optimize campaign performance. 1. Paid Media Integration – Coordinating lifecycle touchpoints with paid search and retargeting campaigns to create a seamless customer journey. 1. Ecommerce Industry Knowledge – Understanding DTC funnel dynamics, online consumer behavior, and ecommerce KPIs. Soft Skills: 1. Project Management – Leading complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and moving parts. 1. Cross-functional Collaboration – Effectively working with teams like brand, paid media, and customer support to align lifecycle efforts. 1. Strategic Thinking and Curiosity – Balancing short-term tactical wins with long-term retention strategies and continuously questioning what’s working and digging into data for insights. 1. Customer-Oriented Mindset – Designing campaigns from the perspective of customer needs and emotional drivers. 1. Communication Skills – Writing clear, persuasive messages and communicating strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 1. Adaptability – Staying flexible in a fast-paced, test-and-learn marketing environment. 1. Results Orientation – Demonstrating a strong focus on achieving measurable business outcomes. Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday Work Location: On-site at 20730 72nd Ave S, Kent, WA 98032 Compensation: As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position.
