Role description
We're looking for a Lifecycle Strategist (Contract) to transform how our client nurtures customer relationships from first visit to lifelong loyalty. You'll audit their current approach, map the ideal customer journey, and build a comprehensive lifecycle program that turns occasional visitors into devoted community members. What You'll Deliver: Lifecycle Strategy & Roadmap • Complete audit of existing onboarding, engagement, and retention flows • Detailed customer journey mapping from first booking through repeat visits • Prioritized roadmap balancing quick wins with transformative long-term improvements Klaviyo Lifecycle Program Build • Core automated flows: onboarding sequences, post-visit nurture, lapsed customer winback, VIP loyalty programs • Dynamic content personalization based on location, visit behavior, and purchase history • Seamless integration of Trybe, Shopify, and AWS data sources SMS Channel Activation • Complete SMS onboarding and compliance setup • Launch SMS campaigns and automated sequences • Strategic testing and optimization alongside email communications Advanced Segmentation & Personalization • Sophisticated behavioral, transactional, and location-based customer segments • Personalization logic for targeted offers, messaging, and creative content • Comprehensive internal documentation for ongoing team use Creative Production & Direction • Development of lifestyle-focused creative strategy aligned with the client's brand • Asset creation including lifestyle photography, short-form video, and motion graphics • High-converting email and SMS template designs optimized for engagement Measurement & Optimization Framework • Lifecycle KPI definition and dashboard setup (Omni + Klaviyo integration) • Robust A/B testing framework for continuous improvement • Structured 30, 60, 90-day optimization sprint planning Team Enablement & Knowledge Transfer • Complete handover documentation for all flows, segments, and templates • Training sessions to enable the client's internal team for ongoing lifecycle management • Strategic recommendations for Q2 advanced personalization initiatives You're Our Person If You: • Have 4-6 years of lifecycle marketing and CRM strategy experience • Know Klaviyo inside and out (or similar advanced marketing automation platforms) • Can balance analytical thinking with creative problem-solving • Have experience integrating multiple data sources for personalized experiences • Understand SMS marketing best practices and compliance requirements • Can lead creative direction while executing technical implementation Bonus Points For: • Experience with hospitality, wellness, or membership-based businesses • Background in lifestyle brand marketing • Track record of measurable lifecycle program improvements • Experience training teams on marketing automation platforms • • This is a contract role - Working hours are 9am-6pm EST. • •
