Role description
The Role:
As the Manager, Affiliate & Paid Advertising UGC/Creator Content you will help to increase our performance marketing efforts to drive growth of our DTC Ecommerce, TikTok Shop business, and customer base via strategic relationships for all brands. You will manage all affiliate partnerships including editorial publishers, influencers, and traditional affiliates and ensure a premium brand presence across all touchpoints. You will partner with creators to create custom sales driving content on a monthly cadence. In this role you will also assist in influencer relations and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit new affiliates/influencers and scale program to include onboarding, incentivizing, briefing, negotiating commissions, contracts, and terms to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship
• Develop and execute the affiliate marketing strategy to enhance brand presence and achieve sales targets within the channel
• Create processes and structure for onboarding and working with affiliate influencer partnerships at scale, including platform management, brand consistency, and procurement/billing.
• Monitor affiliate practices and content across all platforms to ensure compliance with company policies and brand guidelines
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with affiliate + paid advertising partners
• Optimize and innovate the affiliate approach by identifying and tapping into new channels and partners
• Manage influencers for paid advertising partnerships and content calendar, including identifying the right talent for paid media content needs, contract negotiations, briefing, timelines and deliverables
• Optimize affiliate process including data collection and analysis, partner communications + incentives/offers, content generation and gifting
• Measure and report on paid advertising influencer program performance and KPIs; share results, insights and future recommendations with cross-functional teams and leaders on an ongoing basis – weekly, monthly, and quarterly
• Collaborate with cross-functional brand stakeholders across Paid Social, Brand Comms, Agency Partners, and Influencer teams to deliver a cohesive strategy across marketing channels
• Mange UGC production and review for paid media needs
• Build a network of UGC creators and brief them on content needs for paid media / performance advertising
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly
The Candidate:
• 3-5 years of experience working in affiliate marketing, paid media, or influencer relations
• Proven track record of scaling affiliate programs (including Influencers) for consumer-facing companies and hands-on experience in affiliate platforms such as Impact
• Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram and TikTok and TikTok Shop) and are familiar with the content creator landscape and platforms such as Aspire
• Analytical mindset; able to turn various data points into a cohesive narrative
• Excellent organizational skills, allowing you to track progress of projects and share updates with stakeholders effectively
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Strong understanding of paid media and performance marketing
• Comfortable working on projects with cross-functional teams to deliver on shared goals
• Enjoy working on an entrepreneurial team and sharing ideas across functional boundaries
• Organized self-starter who is proficient in Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Social video editing skills a plus
• Experience with Aspire, Impact, TikTok Affiliate and TikTok Shop programs/systems is ideal
• Able and willing to work in-office on a full time basis
