Summary:
Madison Resorts is seeking a creative marketing team member to help our growing company in our marketing efforts. In this position, you will use a multitude of platforms to convert ads and promotions into increased revenue for our company. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product and service promotion. This role is hands on at our resorts in Cape May and Wildwood Crest, and will work directly with social media, events, collateral, property signage and departments across the company.
Responsibilities
β’ Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
β’ Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
β’ Assist in the development and implementation of the companyβs brand strategy.
β’ Build brand awareness through various advertising efforts.
β’ Collect and analyze market research data.
β’ Design and oversee ad layouts.
β’ Present projects to the VP of Sales & Marketings and work with them to strategize and improve the material according to brand standards.
β’ Work within a team of marketers to collaboratively execute marketing campaigns.
β’ Keeping the marketing department files and documents extremely organized.
β’ Organizes photo and video content in file storage by event/category.
β’ Managing marketing & advertising deadlines
β’ Scheduling & managing tasks for the following people: Graphic Designer, 3rd party web manager, and 3rd party marketing team.
β’ Writing content.
β’ Create property event flyers that meet brand standards as needed
β’ Update property signage with the most up to date promotions, hours of operation and retail messaging
β’ Quick graphic edits when needed.
β’ Process orders and track inventory on Shopify
β’ Create the company Weekly Operating Brief and resort Welcome Letters
β’ Ordering printed and other logoed stationary materials for the company.
β’ Obtain knowledge of property events and offerings to manage and answer all messages, inquiries, comments, and tags.
β’ Attends property events to provide support in set up, execution, run of show, clean up, etc.
β’ Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
β’ Assists the Social Media Manager and team with content creation when needed (photography, video, stories, reels).
β’ Provide social media content ideas that are on brand, on trend and will generate positive engagement.
β’ Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generations.
β’ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
β’ Previous experience in marketing, advertising, and/or brand management required.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred.
β’ Attention-to-detail and strong command of grammar and spelling.
β’ Design experience is a plus (Canva or Adobe Suite)
β’ Proficient in analytics and market testing
β’ Willingness to try innovative marketing strategies.
β’ Excellent time management, able to balance many projects at once.
