Position Overview
DollarDays is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Marketing Intern to support our marketing team in a variety of projects. This is a part-time, paid internship offering hands-on experience in competitive analysis, pricing research, reporting, social media content creation, product summaries, UX/UI best practices, and more. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, curious about marketing strategy, and ready to jump in where needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting & Analytics: Assist with creating marketing performance reports, summarizing data from platforms such as Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and social media channels.
• Competitive Analysis & Pricing: Research competitors, track pricing trends, and develop summaries and reports to support marketing, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
• UX/UI Research: Study competitor websites and marketing materials to identify UX/UI best practices, trends, and opportunities for DollarDays to improve user experience and optimize for conversions.
• Product Summaries: Create clear, engaging item descriptions and summaries to highlight product features, benefits, and use cases.
• Social Media Support: Help draft and schedule content for platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.
• Market Research: Support various marketing initiatives by gathering insights and presenting key findings.
• Administrative Support: Assist with campaign organization, content calendars, and file management.
• Other Duties: Pitch in as needed to support the marketing team’s priorities and projects.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with research and able to distill information into clear summaries.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools a plus.
• Interest in e-commerce, competitive pricing, UX/UI best practices, and market trends.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow.
