Role description
Job Description This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and driven candidate with an interest in retail marketing to join a fast-paced, industry-leading marketing organization in the automotive aftermarket industry. The Loyalty Marketing Manager position is on the AutoZone Loyalty and Direct Marketing team and will oversee AutoZone Rewards program with a primary goal to drive customer loyalty and increase lifetime value. This candidate will develop and implement loyalty program strategy and planning, marketing, analytics and operations to over 6,000 U.S. stores and AutoZone.com. Responsibilities β€’ Develop and implement strategies and processes to deliver results for overall loyalty business objectives: customer acquisition and retention, program cost management, increased sales and customer engagement, and consumer insights/understanding. β€’ Lead efforts across Marketing, Creative, Operations, E-Commerce, Merchandising, IT, and partner with external vendors to support the loyalty program and achieve the program's goals. β€’ Refine loyalty program design with various construct tests, external research, internal requirements, and market-specific needs. β€’ Refine consumer experience (online & in-store) including enrollment experience; reward and redemption rules; added benefits; etc. β€’ Drive loyalty program enrollment and engagement via multichannel marketing. β€’ Build multichannel loyalty communications strategy in partnership with Marketing, Creative, Operations, E-Commerce, Merchandising, IT, and third-party vendors to drive program engagement. β€’ Work with analyst teams to manage and understand the success of the program. β€’ Assess loyalty program success vs goals, track loyalty program KPIs, and identify opportunities for deeper analyses. β€’ Manage loyalty communication and operations with internal partners and external vendors. β€’ Manage program performance and customer activity reporting including customer segmentation, program level impact (return on investment and profitability), customer demographics, and benefits usage recommending relevant adjustments to the program. Qualifications Supervisory Requirements This position has one to three direct reports; may manage additional contingent or vendor staff Preferred Requirements β€’ Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in loyalty program management/marketing with a multi-channel retailer preferred. β€’ Project Management experience. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; persuasive in presenting complex concepts to groups. β€’ Proven analytical, business planning, strategic planning, and leadership skills. β€’ Proven ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas. β€’ Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast-paced environment. You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have β€’ Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus. β€’ Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills. β€’ Ability to manage agency partners and engage in a manner that delivers positive results. β€’ Talented in problem-solving, analyzing trends, and understanding business priorities. β€’ Proficient in anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.
