Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising & Assortment
• Assist in managing lingerie product assortments across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
• Support seasonal line planning and help maintain SKU productivity by analyzing sell-through and customer demand.
• Ensure alignment of collections with brand identity, market trends, and consumer insights.
• Create key merchandise assets (e.g., assortment sheets, pairing guides) to clearly show how styles within each collection can be paired back and merchandised together.
• Track and update key item performance to inform future assortments and highlight winning styles for reorders or marketing focus.
Inventory & Product Management
• Track inventory levels and product availability, flagging risks of overstock or out-of-stock situations.
• Coordinate with production and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of collections.
• Maintain product data integrity, including pricing, style information, size ranges, and seasonal updates.
• Create key merchandise assets (e.g., assortment sheets, pairing guides) to clearly show how styles within each collection can be paired back and merchandised together.
• Track and update key item performance to inform future assortments and highlight winning styles for reorders or marketing focus.
E-commerce Merchandising Support
• Assist in site merchandising by checking product uploads, categorization, and ensuring product pages reflect accurate assets (images, copy, fit information).
• Monitor online customer feedback and reviews to flag potential quality or fit issues.
• Partner with design/production to manage product knowledge documents (fabric, fit notes, size range, selling points).
Sales & Reporting
• Analyze sales performance, creating weekly and monthly reporting on bestsellers, slow movers, and category trends.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the merchandising manager for reorders, markdowns, or promotional strategies.
• Monitor competitor assortments and lingerie market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Lead weekly and monthly reports on sales, margins, and inventory, calling out key opportunities and risks.
• Make strategic recommendations on pricing, promotions and product positioning to maximize companies’ profitability.
• Recommend strategies for pricing, promotions, and product positioning to maximize profitability.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with design, production, and marketing support to ensure smooth and successful collection launches
• Connect with marketing and e-commerce support with accurate product information, imagery, and storytelling.
• Liaise with wholesale accounts and retail partners to support assortments, visual merchandising, and product knowledge.
Operational Support
• Assist with calendar management for merchandising deadlines (line reviews, photo shoot prep, seasonal handoffs).
• Prepare recap decks post-launch or post-season to summarize performance, wins, and learnings.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or planning (lingerie, intimates, or fashion preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and retail analytics tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across design, production, and sales teams.
• Passion for lingerie, fashion trends, and empowering brand aesthetics.
• Strong soft skills, including emotional intelligence and clear communication.
