POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary
Weβre seeking a full-time Model Booker (official title: Studio Producer II) for our Los Angeles-based studio.
Job Responsibilities
β’ Source models globally across different platforms, identifying solutions to meet evolving design team needs including e-com and look book teams while keeping pace with industry trends
β’ Communicate directly with brand teams regarding model alignment etc. and manage excel sheet calendars for team use
β’ Work closely with agents and freelance talent to build lasting partnerships and negotiate competitive rates for ongoing collaborations
β’ Book hair and makeup artists and coordinate their schedules in alignment with studio team needs
β’ Negotiate and problem-solve across a variety of model-related scenarios to successfully secure bookings and meet project requirements
β’ Manage projects from initiation to completion, proactively following through at each stage to ensure timelines remain on track and deliverables are met
β’ Review test shots to ensure hair and makeup meet brand standards. Collaborate with the design team to gather feedback or notes and provide final approval for the team to begin shooting once the test image is confirmed
β’ Schedule and hold in person castings and pitch to the design teams, helping match the right models to each teamβs aesthetics and needs
β’ Maintain and create model catalog for each design team and various tracking logs to ensure organization and smooth workflow across projects
β’ Review invoices, ensuring dates, rates, billing details are correct. Partner with the accounting team to troubleshoot any delayed payments
β’ Send call sheets along with hair and makeup inspo for all ecomm and look book shoots, ensuring all details are accurate
β’ Coordinate lunch orders for talent and freelance crew for in-studio and location shoots
β’ Act as the opener, greet and allow entry for talent and glam team as they arrive to begin hair and makeup
β’ Log the arrival times of each individual (talent and glam) and communicate these to the team lead. This will help track punctuality and determine if any adjustments to scheduling, such as extending time on set may be necessary
β’ Regularly review all existing agreements to identify any that are approaching their expiration dates. Proactively initiate the renewal process to ensure continued compliance and maintain current, up-to-date agreements with all partnering agencies
β’ Input photoshoot details in DPS
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute photo shoots, ensuring alignment across all departments.
Job Requirements
β’ 5+ years of experience with an agency or production company in e-commerce content production or high-volume commercial photography within fashion
β’ Strong interpersonal, collaborative and effective communication skills
