The Role We’re looking for a proven sales leader to take full ownership of the US pet specialty channel. This role covers everything outside of FDM (which is managed by a dedicated team), meaning you’ll lead relationships with big box retailers (Petco, PetSmart), eCommerce giants (Amazon, Chewy), national distributors, and the independent pet trade, ensuring the brand is positioned for maximum visibility and growth across every pet specialty touchpoint. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, executing high-impact plans, and driving sustainable partnerships with key players across the sector. Key Responsibilities β€’ Own and deliver the sales strategy for the entire US pet specialty channel β€’ Secure and grow listings with Petco, PetSmart, Chewy, Amazon, and other leading accounts β€’ Build, expand, and manage relationships with national distributors serving the independent pet channel β€’ Negotiate and deliver joint business plans, promotions, and contracts with major partners β€’ Track sales performance and deliver on ambitious revenue growth targets β€’ Collaborate with marketing, operations, and the global FDM team to ensure seamless execution across channels β€’ Represent the brand at leading trade shows and industry events, acting as a true ambassador About You β€’ Significant experience in the pet trade, ideally with existing national account responsibility β€’ Well-established relationships with major distributors and retailers across the US pet specialty space β€’ Demonstrated success in driving revenue and securing long-term national listings β€’ Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, independently owned brand β€’ Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to influence at a senior level Why Join? β€’ This is a unique opportunity to join a global yet independently owned brand where you’ll have autonomy, visibility, and impact.
