Infosys is seeking a NodeJS Lead Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clientsβ business needs. Qualifications
Basic
β’ Bachelorβs degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
β’ At least 4+ years of experience with Information Technology
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
β’ Hands-on experience with GraphQL and JSON.
β’ Experience writing unit tests using JEST.
β’ Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
β’ Knowledge of Headless CMS implementations.
β’ Experience working with eCommerce platforms.
β’ Ability to learn and adopt coding standards and best practices.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain Node.js applications with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.
β’ Utilize GraphQL for building and optimizing APIs.
β’ Integrate and manage a Headless CMS for seamless content delivery.
β’ Write and maintain unit tests using the JEST testing framework to ensure code quality and prevent future issues.
β’ Work with Git and Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development.
β’ Develop and enhance eCommerce platforms, ensuring a smooth user experience.
β’ Collaborate closely with Product Owners to align the roadmap with technical strengths and opportunities.
β’ Follow coding standards and best practices, continuously improving code quality.
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face
