Van’s Aircraft is seeking an on-site specialist to manage our NetSuite, Magento, ShipStation, and RF-Smart platforms. This candidate is responsible for the overall health of these systems; for managing upgrades and updates across all platforms; ensuring connectors and middleware function properly and reliably; and to head up training and SOP generation for these platforms. Our ideal candidate is adept at listening to the users of these systems and building functional solutions so they can support our customer-service channels, liaise with manufacturing, and ensure our shipping department works efficiently. This candidate must display excellent time-management skills and be capable of driving projects through to completion. This is a full-time, on-site position in Aurora, Oregon, that is fast-paced, highly varied, and tremendously rewarding for anyone who likes finding solutions for a dedicated staff. Among the specific NetSuite responsibilities are: • Data import and export • Saved search creation and customization main line, line item and aggregation of data (through the UI or using SQL within the Formula field) • Adding custom fields to records • Adding new custom records • Customizing UI to expose, hide or limit fields • Using workflows to change transaction statuses, lock transactions, ensure proper routing by changing assignees and chains of approval • Customizing user dashboards with task reminders and summaries of things to do (based on transaction assignee) • Handling connector / data flow / sync issues and escalating as appropriate. • Tracing GL impact across transactions and understanding how posting and nonposting transactions work to assist with accounting inquiries Among the specific Magento 2 CE responsibilities are: • General maintenance of the site and, especially, the connectors among the platforms. • Working with the ecommerce and marketing teams to roll out new features. • Build out automated crosssells and upsells • Build automated product discontinuation • Automate an order process that is currently manual • Handle bulk uploads and changes to the product catalog. Among the specific ShipStation and RF-Smart responsibilities are: • General maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting as required. Requirements: • 23 years experience as a NetSuite administrator • 23 years experience with Magento 2 CE • 12 years experience with ShipStation • Fluency with API structure and connectors among these platforms • Enjoys solving problems, building solutions and engaging with people • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred • Strong writing and communication skills
