Operations Manager

WHO WE WANT
The Operations Manager will report to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for managing inventory from PO to final customer, acting as the communications liaison with external vendors, including a 3pl warehouse, while guiding the internal strategy and visibility regarding inventory and operations management to support day-to-day business needs. This individual will lead management of the 3pl warehouse, purchase orders, inventory allocation & flow, outbound fulfillment, and wholesale, and will collaborate closely with internal teams such as customer care, eCommerce, and product. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing operations for a direct to consumer or high-volume multi-channel business and is someone for whom project management and clear communication come naturally. This is a hybrid role is required in office at-minimum every Tuesday and Thursday. Remote candidates will not be considered.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
· Manage 3rd party warehouse logistics partner to ensure on-time delivery of product to customers
· Monitor and track inventory receiving including cutting, splitting and receiving POs
· Support seasonal inventory planning and regularly monitor inventory levels to identify opportunities for re-supply of key product styles
· Manage inventory product life-cycle from cradle to grave through inventory aging reports, sell-through analysis, and partnering with accounting on overall inventory health
· Evaluate and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
· Work closely with design team and marketing team on incoming product for sale-readiness, ensuring inventory is accurately received and put-away in support of product launches and wholesale distribution
· Ensure vendor compliance for product shipments to largest wholesale partners
· Develop cost-effective shipping strategy to transport product from overseas suppliers to warehouse and large wholesale partners
· Support launch of new products and collections on Oiselle.com website through our e-commerce platform
· Evaluate new opportunities for more streamlined and automated operational processes across the organization
· Manage direct reports as the operations department grows
· Own backend of wholesale operations

· Takes a collaborative approach to build constructive and effective relationships with internal and external teams.
· Familiarity with inventory management, retail, and/or customer service.
· An enthusiasm for running and knowledge of the Oiselle brand and product is a plus.
· Demonstrates patience, empathy, and is a dependable teammate.
· This position requires regular physical activity, including standing for extended periods, safely lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, and moving boxes or equipment as part of seasonal product handling and event support.
