Role description
AG Jeans is seeking a Performance Marketing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting β€” and in some areas, owning β€” the execution, optimization, and analysis of campaigns across paid search, paid social, affiliate marketing, and retention channels (email and SMS). Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, this role is ideal for a digital marketer with a foundation in performance marketing who is ready to take on more ownership, expand into multi-channel strategy, and work hands-on with both acquisition and retention efforts to drive measurable growth for AGJeans.com. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our South Gate, CA corporate headquarters (not available for remote or hybrid work). Key Responsibilities – Acquisition & Retention Marketing Support: Campaign Planning & Execution β€’ Assist in developing media plans for paid search, paid social, and affiliate programs, contributing ideas on targeting, creative direction, and channel mix. β€’ Manage campaign setup, ad placement, QA, and launch for assigned initiatives across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, affiliate networks, and retention platforms. β€’ Coordinate with creative teams to ensure delivery of on-brand, platform-optimized assets for all campaigns. β€’ Maintain campaign timelines and asset trackers to ensure all deliverables are on schedule. Channel Optimization & Testing β€’ Monitor performance across channels daily, flagging opportunities to improve ROAS, CTR, CPC, and conversion rates. β€’ Support and sometimes lead A/B testing initiatives (creative variations, targeting refinements, audience segmentation, bidding strategies). β€’ Assist in identifying emerging media opportunities and presenting recommendations to the Performance Marketing Manager. Retention Marketing Support β€’ Support email and SMS campaigns, including audience segmentation, creative QA, and performance reporting. β€’ Assist in maintaining triggered and lifecycle flows, monitoring deliverability and engagement metrics. β€’ Work with the Performance Marketing Manager to identify opportunities for personalized customer journeys that increase retention and repeat purchases. Reporting & Analytics β€’ Build and maintain weekly and monthly KPI reports across all acquisition and retention channels. β€’ Leverage analytics tools including GA4, Triple Whale, and Shopify+ to generate insights and recommendations. β€’ Present data findings in cross-functional meetings to help inform marketing and merchandising decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration β€’ Work closely with Ecommerce, Creative, and Brand Marketing teams to align paid campaigns with seasonal launches, promotions, and brand storytelling. β€’ Partner with agencies, vendors, and platform reps to ensure best practices are implemented across all channels. β€’ Maintain documentation, playbooks, and learnings to support ongoing optimization and team knowledge sharing. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. β€’ 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or ecommerce (fashion/apparel industry experience is a plus). β€’ Familiarity with paid media channels, campaign setup, and reporting metrics. β€’ Experience with GA4, Triple Whale, and Shopify+ strongly preferred. β€’ Working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and affiliate platforms. β€’ Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. β€’ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and identify actionable insights. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.). β€’ Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in identifying new opportunities.
