Role description
Performance Lead 📍 London (5 days a week in-office, with flexibility) 💰 £55,000 - £60,000 base salary + up to 10k performance bonus We’re working with a fast-scaling challenger bank to hire a Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of high-impact, cross-channel paid media campaigns that directly drive customer acquisition and growth. This is a senior role within a high-performing Growth team — ideal for someone with deep platform experience and a passion for data-led marketing. You'll manage significant media budgets, partner with best-in-class platforms, and help shape the future of digital acquisition in a regulated, customer-first environment. What you’ll be doing: • Lead strategy and execution of paid media campaigns across Search, Social, Programmatic, CTV and Streaming • Own media budgets and ensure spend is optimised to deliver against performance and growth targets • Develop media plans to support full-funnel activity — from acquisition to retention • Monitor performance and share insights with internal stakeholders using GA4, Tableau, Looker Studio or equivalent • Design and run A/B tests and experimentation to drive continuous improvement • Build relationships with key partners including Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, The Trade Desk and external agencies • Support quarterly forecasting and annual planning alongside senior leadership • Mentor more junior team members and contribute to ongoing process improvements What we’re looking for: • Substantial experience in performance marketing, ideally within a complex in-house or leading agency environment • Hands-on management of large-scale paid media budgets • Deep knowledge of platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, DV360 or Amazon Ads • Skilled in analytics and reporting tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau • Familiarity with campaign tools like SA360, Skai or Campaign Manager 360 • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, attribution, and AI-driven optimisation • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bonus points for: • Experience in regulated industries like financial services, fintech or insurance • Knowledge of marketing measurement models such as incrementality testing or MMM
