Job Description About the Role Fanatics is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager, Growth to lead and drive experimentation initiatives with the goal of accelerating Collector KPIs across Fanatics Live & Fanatics Collect. This is a hands-on, strategic, and execution-focused role that will oversee a cross-functional Product Growth Team, leading a team of growth engineers, with dedicated data scientists & designers, and wider stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Data. You will be responsible for driving product-led growth initiatives that optimize the collector funnel, from first time collectors onboarding to long-term retention, and ensuring that we are constantly testing, iterating, and experimenting to find new areas of growth across all aspects of the business. Success in this role will be defined by the team’s ability to run multiple experiments, scale successful initiatives, and ultimately drive both new user acquisition and maximized revenue per user across Fanatics’ product ecosystem. Responsibilities • Experimentation and Funnel Optimization: • Lead and execute product-led growth experiments focused on improving our acquisition funnel, customer onboarding, and conversion pathways. • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to refine user flows, optimize onboarding continuously driving improvement. • Data/BI Analysis and Insights: • Partner with the Data Science and Analytics teams to develop actionable insights and provide the business with data-driven recommendations to fuel growth. • Oversee the collection of performance metrics to monitor funnel health, identify friction points, and uncover new growth opportunities. • Leverage BI tools to create reports and dashboards that track product performance, experiment results, and business KPIs. • Onboarding: • Obsess over the first-time collector experience: Create seamless, intuitive, and engaging onboarding experiences that drive activation and reduce churn. • Continuously optimize the FTC journey, ensuring that new users understand the value proposition of Fanatics products and are motivated to continue engaging with the platform. • Implement tools and processes for personalized onboarding flows to guide users effectively through the early stages of their collector journey. • Rewards Program Implementation: • Develop and manage a dynamic rewards platform using first-party and third-party tooling, designed to extend LTV (Lifetime Value) and incentivize continued user engagement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate rewards seamlessly into the collector experience, ensuring that rewards are aligned with user needs and business objectives. • Measure the impact of rewards on user retention, repeat purchases, and overall GMV growth. • Platform Integrations & Ecosystem Growth: • Drive the development of a suite of SDKs and APIs to enable integration with the Fanatics platform and a wider ecosystem of collector partners. • Partner with key external stakeholders (e.g., sports leagues, e-commerce platforms, partner apps) to enable seamless cross-platform acquisition and user growth. • Identify and lead platform integration opportunities to capture new collector segments and drive cross-over user engagement. • AI Tooling and Innovation: • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and integrating cutting-edge AI tools that can enhance our growth experiments, user acquisition, and retention strategies. • Leverage AI-driven solutions to personalize user experiences, predict behavior, and optimize product features at scale. • Implement AI-backed features that enhance decision-making, such as dynamic pricing, personalized recommendations, and tailored marketing campaigns. Key Metrics For Success • Experiment velocity: Ensure the team is running multiple high-impact growth experiments per week across different platforms. • New collector acquisition: Successfully drive the acquisition of new collectors while optimizing CAC and reducing friction. • Onboarding optimization: Improve FTC activation rates and overall onboarding experience. • LTV improvement: Demonstrate an increase in LTV (Lifetime Value) through rewards, engagement, and retention initiatives. • Cross-platform growth: Deliver significant growth in collector crossover through platform integrations and external partnerships. • AI impact: Successfully integrate AI-powered tools that enhance growth and product features, demonstrating a measurable impact on key metrics (e.g., acquisition, engagement, retention). Qualifications • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a high-growth e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer tech environment. • Proven track record of driving growth initiatives and leading product-led growth strategies, especially in areas such as onboarding, personalization, and lifecycle management. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline. In Los Angeles, the salary range for this position is $131,080-$163,850, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
