Role description
What Youβll Do
β’ We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for our Merchandising platform.
β’ This role requires a deep understanding of retail merchandising functions, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, inventory optimization, and vendor collaboration.
β’ Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for merchandising tools and platforms.
β’ Gather and prioritize product requirements from business stakeholders, customers, and user research.
β’ Translate business needs into detailed product features and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
β’ Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch, working with engineering, UX, and data teams.
β’ Collaborate with category managers, buyers, planners, and pricing analysts to understand their needs and drive adoption.
β’ Drive data-informed decisions through KPIs, experiments (A/B testing), and feedback loops.
β’ Champion platform scalability, automation, and integration across merchandising and supply chain systems.
β’ Monitor competitive landscape and emerging trends in retail tech to guide innovation and differentiation.
What You Know
β’ 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in retail or merchandising domain.
β’ Strong understanding of merchandising workflows β category management, pricing, promotions, item onboarding, and vendor negotiations.
β’ Demonstrated success in launching B2B/B2C retail or enterprise applications.
β’ Ability to define and drive cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
β’ Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
β’ Experience with retail platforms such as SAP, Oracle RMS, or custom merchandising systems.
β’ Knowledge of modern retail ecosystems β eCommerce, Omni-channel planning, and AI/ML-driven pricing and assortment optimization.
Education
β’ MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
