Job Description:
• We are seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager with proven expertise in subscription-driven businesses such as OTT, streaming, SaaS, or membership platforms.
• In this role, you will lead end-to-end marketing strategies focused on customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth within a subscription ecosystem.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design pricing and promotional strategies, optimize lifecycle marketing, and deliver personalized campaigns that strengthen customer loyalty. As a key driver of product marketing strategy, you will inform stakeholders on market opportunities, provide critical insights, and shape positioning, brand messaging, and go-to-market initiatives for new features and services.
Responsibilities:
• Drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and win-back strategies for subscription products.
• Leverage competitive insights and content strategies to enhance subscription stickiness and revenue growth.
• Monitor lifecycle metrics (churn, ARPU, LTV, conversions) and translate insights into marketing actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build pricing, packaging, promotions, and personalized campaigns.
• Execute targeted lifecycle marketing and automation flows to boost trial-to-paid conversions and loyalty.
• Act as a subject matter expert on product(s) or feature(s) to partners across teams to provide input in the product and feature development process, drive market analysis, and predict and provide insights on industry trends on product development and marketing.
• Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., active users, revenue, market size, sales in units, growth, profit), as a key contributor. Use subject matter expertise in the field to identify opportunities in the market landscape. Collaborate with relevant teams to build supporting rationales, hypotheses, and visions.
• Understand the product and target audience, develop the positioning of the product to users and bring the products to the market, and develop and execute the go-to-market plan and messages for new products and features.
• Drive product brand positioning, value propositions, and messaging strategy using voice and user insights, adapt nuances of specific product voice or goals to different communications (e.g., narratives, brand framework document).
• Drive evaluation and analysis of campaign performance for optimization, determine channels for reaching and engaging users, and drive integrated channels to meet targets.
Experience Required:
• Proven experience in marketing for subscription-based businesses (e.g., OTT, streaming, SaaS, or membership platforms).
• Strong understanding of subscription KPIs (CAC, LTV, churn, ARPU, trial-to-paid conversion, etc.) and experience leveraging them in campaign design.
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and lifecycle marketing for subscription products.
• Demonstrated success in building data-driven personalization strategies to improve engagement and retention.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, growth, and analytics teams in subscription-driven organizations.
• Knowledge of consumer psychology in subscription adoption and renewal.
• Ability to identify and exploit opportunities in tiered pricing, bundles, free trials, and promotional models.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize subscription funnels.
• Strong competitive awareness of global subscription leaders (Netflix, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, etc.).
Education:
