Job Location - Lisle, IL (Onsite)

Job Description:
• This role will be responsible for the cloud-based integration strategy, data flows, and API development of the VIN cataloging system to eCommerce.
• The Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, analysts, and business leads to strategically prioritize features that enhance vehicle & parts data accuracy.
• This individual will serve as the end-to-end product leader—from ideation and requirements gathering through deployment and lifecycle management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for VIN catalog integrations, focusing on scalability, data quality, and seamless connectivity across platforms.
• Incorporate internal and external stakeholder feedback to generate features that deliver true business value and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, UX, DevOps, and other internal or external data providers to build roadmaps that ensure cohesive integration of VIN data into digital products.
• Manage the product backlog (PBL). Define user stories with detailed acceptance criteria that meet a Definition of Ready; participate in daily standups and sprint reviews of engineering work products.
• Oversee API lifecycle management, including design, documentation, testing, and versioning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable rapid, reliable deployment of integration features.
• Ensure data flows are optimized for performance, security, and compliance using cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, GCP Pub/Sub).

MUSTS:
• 5+ years of progressively responsible work experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or similar roles using an Agile software development process.
• Proven experience with cloud-based system integrations, API development, and data flow optimization.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture and modern integration patterns.
• Deep knowledge of the automotive or trucking industry, including VIN structures, and cataloging systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Pragmatic problem solver with the ability to break down complex technical challenges into actionable components.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
