Role description
We are seeking a Sales Manager who is ready to take ownership of scaling up the U.S. operations for Anton Paar ConsumerTec GmbH. This is an exciting opportunity to build a subsidiary from the ground up, develop national sales channels, and help bring smart, app-connected devices into the hands of U.S. home and craft brewers, winemakers, foodies, aquarium enthusiasts, and many more. Responsibilities: β€’ Lead sales growth, market development and key account management across the entire U.S. market. β€’ Expand the presence of Anton Paar ConsumerTec in the U.S. markets, starting with EasyDens digital density meter and SmartRef digital refractometer. β€’ Identify and onboard resellers, retail partners, and distribution channels nationwide. β€’ Boost direct-to-consumer sales through leading U.S. e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart.com, specialty retailers, etc.). β€’ Collaborate with the marketing team to position our products across North America. β€’ Develop and execute a local sales strategy with measurable KPIs and long-term growth targets. β€’ Build out the U.S. subsidiary with the potential to lead a future local team. β€’ Report directly to the Anton Paar ConsumerTec headquarters in Austria. Your profile: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. β€’ 3+ years of experience in consumer product sales, market development, or e-commerce. β€’ Proven track record building or expanding sales channels in the U.S., ideally in smart devices, or lifestyle tech. β€’ Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to build something new. β€’ Strong familiarity with the U.S. retail and e-commerce landscape. β€’ Excellent communication skills in English. β€’ Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, trade shows, or occasional international visits.
