Opportunity for Impact
We need a Senior Content Marketing Manager who's passionate about breaking taboos, building community, and turning women's health insights into compelling stories that deliver real impact. At Alloy, our mission is to support women through menopause and perimenopause with innovative digital solutions, and we need someone who thrives on collaborative strategy execution and hands-on content creation to drive transformational business growth.
Reporting directly to our VP of Growth & Retention, you'll work closely alongside multiple marketing teammates as the creative force behind campaigns that blend authentic storytelling with performance precision. This role sits at the exciting intersection of creativity and data, where your hands-on work and collaborative partnerships with growth marketing, brand, and product teams directly fuel our next phase of rapid expansion.
Who You Are
You're a strategic creative leader passionate about elevating women's health conversations, building engaged communities, and architecting content ecosystems that deliver exceptional impact at scale. You don't just execute campaigns—you design content strategies that become competitive advantages. You're equally comfortable presenting to C-level executives and mentoring junior creators, with a track record of scaling content operations that deliver both cultural impact and business results.
• Hands-On Practitioner: You're comfortable being hands-on with copy, content operations, and day-to-day execution alongside strategic planning.
• Strategic Visionary: You develop comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives and drive multi-channel growth at scale.
• Performance-Minded: You're skilled in analyzing content performance data, identifying trends, and optimizing creative strategies based on what drives results.
• Team Builder: You mentor creative talent, establish best practices, and build processes that elevate team performance and output quality.
• Platform Strategist: You understand platform ecosystems deeply and can anticipate trends, algorithm changes, and emerging opportunities before competitors.
• Executive Communicator: You translate creative performance into business insights and present strategic recommendations that influence company direction.
• Category Expert: You're deeply versed in women's health, particularly menopause/perimenopause, and can authentically connect with our community while advancing important conversations.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategy that drives acquisition, engagement, and retention in close collaboration with growth marketing, product, and brand teammates
• Lead and support in the execution of quarterly content planning while gathering input from cross-functional partners
• Build and implement content frameworks and creative guidelines that scale across teams and channels
Vendor & Contractor Management
• Lead and coordinate external creative partners, contractors, and specialized agencies to deliver high-quality content
• Establish clear creative briefing standards and feedback processes that ensure consistent output quality
• Collaborate with internal teams to build scalable content production workflows
Performance Monitoring & Insights
• Monitor content performance across channels and identify trends that drive engagement and conversions
• Conduct regular analysis on content effectiveness across the customer journey, from awareness to retention
• Present monthly strategic insights to leadership with actionable recommendations for growth acceleration
Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence
• Partner closely with Product, Brand, PR, and Clinical teams to ensure content accuracy and strategic alignment
• Lead creative review processes with medical advisors, ensuring content maintains clinical accuracy while maximizing engagement
• Collaborate with Growth Marketing to optimize content for paid amplification and conversion optimization
Content Ecosystem Architecture
• Oversee end-to-end content production workflows from ideation through performance analysis
• Manage relationships with key agencies, creative partners, and external vendors
• Establish content governance and brand safety protocols for sensitive health topics
Innovation & Market Leadership
• Identify and test emerging content formats, platforms, and creative approaches before they become mainstream
• Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to maintain creative and strategic advantage
• Drive thought leadership initiatives that position Alloy as the authority in women's midlife health
Daily Content Operations & Collaboration
• Execute content operations and optimization across platforms while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate daily with paid media, email, and social teams on content testing and optimization
• Partner directly with designers and copywriters on rapid iteration and content creation
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field; 5–8 years in senior content marketing, growth creative, or related strategic role at high-growth DTC/e-commerce brands
• Proven track record leading content strategies that drove significant business growth (demonstrable impact on revenue, user acquisition, etc.)
• Advanced strategic thinking and framework development — experience building scalable content operations and measurement systems
• Cross-functional collaboration experience — history of working with and alongside high-performing marketing teams
• Strong communication skills across all levels — equally comfortable collaborating with teammates and presenting to leadership
• Deep performance marketing expertise — advanced knowledge of attribution, creative testing, and full-funnel optimization
• Content production oversight — experience managing complex creative workflows, agency relationships, and cross-functional partnerships
• Hands-on technical skills — proficiency with CMSs, content management platforms, and marketing tools with willingness to personally execute content operations
• Women's health or healthcare experience strongly preferred — understanding of regulatory considerations and community sensitivities
