Job Title: Senior Director of Global Ecommerce and Omnichannel Trading (FTC)
Department: Global E-Commerce
Reporting to: Chief Client Officer
Role Purpose:
Responsible for leading the global eCommerce business, collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects including business planning, weekly trading, content strategy and development, seasonal launches, performance marketing, website design, web analytics and web technology development.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Own and execute the global eCommerce strategy to achieve sales and profit targets in line with global brand goals.
• Own the digital trading calendar, sales forecasting and commercial initiatives, highlighting risks and opportunities and actions to drive growth.
• Take responsibility for the eCommerce P&L, in collaboration with finance, identifying drivers of revenue, profitability and customer growth.
• Deliver an exceptional brand and shopping experience online by optimizing UX, merchandising, content, and personalisation.
• Develop and deliver effective global digital marketing strategies, balancing driving brand heat and awareness with maximising ROI and conversion across paid search, paid social, affiliates and SEO.
• Collaborate with key partners, platforms and agencies, capitalizing on new innovation and initiatives to drive performance.
• Utilize CRO tools and advanced analytics to drive data-based decision making, enhancing site performance, customer behaviour, and marketing effectiveness.
• Define and deliver, in collaboration with digital development team, an iterative roadmap of digital enhancements, from UX to content to checkout optimisation.
• Oversee localisation across markets, ensuring language, product, merchandising and content reflect regional needs.
• Work in close conjunction with global and regional buying and merchandising teams to ensure online assortment and availability meets customer demand whilst continuously enhancing omnichannel fulfilment methods to drive sell through.
• Manage strategic eCommerce partnerships which help to maximise brand image, reach, revenue and profit.
• Create a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on continuous improvement and integration, driving AI and innovation to enhance marketing and digital capabilities
• Lead, mentor and inspire a skilled and ambitious team across omnichannel trading, performance marketing, ecommerce content, digital design and partnerships.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
• 10+ years of eCommerce and Omnichannel experience, preferably in a luxury fashion brand.
• Proven experience of development and delivering global ecommerce growth
• Strong analytical and business decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives to drive performance.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in all performance marketing channels
• Extensive knowledge of web technologies, best-practice user experience design/layout, and site performance measurement.
• Strong organisational and management skills, including experience of working with international teams across time zones.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business.
• Acute understanding of luxury, branding and fashion.
