POSITION TITLE Sr. Director of Ecommerce REPORTS TO Executive Vice President of Finance & Ecommerce LOCATION Headquarters is in Downtown Los Angeles, CA ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Vice President of Ecommerce to lead and scale our digital commerce channels, including our DTC website, Amazon, and retailer.com partners. This executive will own the ecommerce P&L, drive profitable revenue growth, and oversee the strategic execution of digital sales, operations, marketing, and merchandising initiatives. The ideal candidate is a data-informed leader with a track record of building high-performing teams, optimizing digital performance, and managing cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced consumer brand environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership & P&L Management β€’ Own and manage the full ecommerce P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability across DTC, Amazon, and retail.com channels. β€’ Develop and implement a multi-year ecommerce strategy aligned with company growth objectives and brand positioning. β€’ Set revenue, margin, and operational KPIs; monitor performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed. Channel Management β€’ Oversee performance and operations of: β€’ DTC Website (Shopify) – driving conversion, AOV, LTV, site merchandising, UX, and CRO. β€’ Amazon (1P) – managing advertising, pricing, content, inventory, reviews, and compliance with Amazon policies. β€’ Retailer.com (e.g., Target, Walmart, etc.) – managing syndication, content, promotions, and retailer-specific digital media. Team Leadership & Collaboration β€’ Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing ecommerce team spanning marketing, operations, and analytics. β€’ Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product to ensure alignment of ecommerce initiatives with broader business goals. Digital Marketing & Performance Optimization β€’ Oversee ecommerce marketing programs including SEO, SEM, affiliate, email, SMS, retargeting, paid social, and display. β€’ Manage CAC, ROAS, and retention strategies to ensure efficient customer acquisition and growth. β€’ Utilize A/B testing, analytics tools, and heatmaps to optimize UX and conversion across platforms. Operations & Technology β€’ Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory availability, and fulfillment excellence. β€’ Lead technology selection and digital tools stack that supports growth, automation, and scalability. Data, Insights & Reporting β€’ Develop and present actionable insights based on data and analytics, providing regular reporting on channel performance, trends, and opportunities. β€’ Use analytics to identify customer behavior shifts and product performance across channels. QUAIFICATIONS β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. β€’ 10+ years of experience in ecommerce leadership roles, with a strong background managing DTC, Amazon, and retail.com platforms. β€’ Demonstrated success in owning and growing ecommerce P&Ls of $25M+. β€’ Expertise in ecommerce tech stacks, marketplaces, digital marketing, and omnichannel strategies. β€’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear action plans. β€’ Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels. β€’ Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth CPG, retail, or consumer brand environment. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE β€’ Achieve company digital sales growth goals (10% of total domestic sales) over the next 24 months. β€’ Year-over-year ecommerce margin growth across all channels. β€’ Improved site conversion, customer LTV, and marketing efficiency. β€’ Reduced operational friction across fulfillment, platform integration, and merchandising. β€’ A clear roadmap for sustainable growth and channel diversification.
