Role description
Job Description: Job Summary: The Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager is directly responsible for managing the Merchant of Record and Seller of Record service line for Cart.com. This person must maintain the health of all accounts and manage the day-to-day operations of the overall engagements. This manager must work cross-departmentally to oversee contracts, onboarding, vendor relationships and maintenance, finance, invoicing and reconciliation, and must lead external client meetings and foster relationships. Responsibilities: β€’ Clearly understand and manage existing scopes of work; ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely fashion and monitoring for scope creep β€’ Assist with billing and payment setup and manage all invoices and reconciliations and be responsible for timely updates and billings both internally and externally β€’ Onboarding and monitoring Payment Processors for all managed ecommerce sites β€’ Understand current tax structures and ensure all taxes are properly managed for client β€’ Work with internal media teams to ensure all client accounts are migrated properly and all payments are tracked properly β€’ Create and update appropriate reports from various sales channels and POS platforms β€’ Perform monthly MOR reconciliations across multiple client accounts β€’ Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely and accurate manner β€’ Assist in improving reconciliation processes through automation and system enhancements β€’ Maintain proper documentation for audit and control purposes β€’ Forecast end of month fees to track against service line P&L and have a deep understanding of potential end of month charges Education & Experience: β€’ Strong client relations and problem-solving skills β€’ Ability to lead meetings with executive level sponsors and serve as a trusted point of contact β€’ Commercial experience and ability to properly manage multiple scopes of work across a variety of accounts β€’ Strength in project management and ability to indirectly manage colleagues across multiple departments to ensure deliverables are met on time β€’ Ability to work with minimal direction and oversight β€’ Intermediate knowledge of Shopify - analytics, site ops, and payment tracking β€’ Working knowledge of digital media platforms; Google, Meta, etc Bonus Points: β€’ Familiarity with financial operations platforms (eg Bill.com, Zip) Our Core Values These aren’t just buried somewhere in an employee manual.
