Role description
Hybrid, San Rafael, Marin The Role Obello is hiring its first growth marketing lead to build and scale our user acquisition engine from the ground up. This is a pivotal role at the company — you will define our paid acquisition strategy, test and optimize new channels, and establish the necessary infrastructure to drive revenue, adoption, and long-term growth. We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, loves experimentation, and is excited to be hands-on in shaping Obello’s growth foundation. This role will define and optimize our digital channel mix, including but not limited to Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube. They will partner with the founding team on go-to-market strategy and bring a test-learn-optimize mindset to everything they do. The ideal candidate loves building, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can balance strategy with day-to-day execution. Responsibilities • Own and lead Obello’s paid acquisition and growth marketing strategy across channels (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google, TikTok, and others as needed) • Launch, manage, and scale paid campaigns, from ideation to execution to performance reporting • Define and track growth KPIs, including CAC, ROAS, funnel conversion rates, LTV:CAC, and retention drivers. • Partner with design and content teams to develop high-performing creative and landing pages • Design and run structured growth experiments and CRO conversion rate optimization initiatives • Establish growth infrastructure: attribution, tracking, reporting, and performance dashboards • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer experience to align growth with user behavior and business priorities • Inform budgeting and forecasting with insights grounded in campaign performance and ROI Requirements • 5–8 years of experience in B2B SaaS growth or performance marketing, ideally in early-stage startups • Deep expertise across paid channels and digital acquisition • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with key SaaS growth metrics • Experience managing budgets and optimizing performance across multiple platforms • Comfortable wearing many hats and operating independently • Proven track record of running experiments, scaling channels, and hitting aggressive growth goals • Thrives in fast-paced, data-rich environments with lots of ambiguity • Excellent communicator and collaborator Bonus Points • Experience working in the design software or creative tooling space • Familiarity with AI technologies or marketing AI tools • Experience with HubSpot, Mixpanel, or other analytics/growth platforms • Background in CRO, landing page testing, or funnel optimization • Experience working with or managing agency partners Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: $140K • Equity: Meaningful early-stage ownership • Benefits: Health, dental, vision, HSA/FSA • Location: Hybrid (San Rafael, Marin) Why Now?
