Role Overview
We are seeking a highly ambitious and commercially astute Senior Marketing Manager to lead the UK marketing strategy, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market share growth. This pivotal role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution across brand media, partnerships, professional channels (clinics, salons, spas), and consumer campaigns.
You will manage a small but dynamic team, overseeing visual merchandising, events, in-store experience, and trade marketing, while ensuring high-impact, integrated campaigns for new product launches and broader brand initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Lead the UK marketing strategy to maximise brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market share.
• Own ATL media strategy, brand partnership negotiations, media sponsorships, and professional channel marketing.
• Manage the marketing calendar for NPD launches and key brand moments, ensuring cohesive execution across channels.
Team Management
• Lead, inspire, and develop two direct reports (Retail Activation Manager and Trade Marketing Manager).
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across VM, events, trade marketing, media, partnerships, and professional teams.
Budget Ownership
• Manage marketing budgets, ensuring investment delivers measurable ROI.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, and monthly tracking aligned with business objectives.
Campaign Tracking & Reporting
• Lead UK campaign tracking and monthly reporting, delivering actionable insights.
• Use data to refine strategies, optimise ROI, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Manage tools such as Circana to report on trends, brand rankings, and market shifts.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Agency Management
• Partner with Sales, Education, PR/Influencer, Digital, and Global Marketing teams for integrated activations.
• Manage relationships with external agencies to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
• Ensure timely and full delivery of campaigns while maximising investment in data and insights.
Skills & Experience
• 5+ years in senior marketing roles within beauty, preferably skincare.
• Proven success in multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns (media, partnerships, retail, etail, professional).
• Strong leadership with experience managing direct reports and cross-functional teams.
• Commercially driven with demonstrable ROI delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and collaborative mindset with flexibility to support various marketing disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign tracking and reporting.
