Role description
Product Designer / UX Designer – Ecommerce – Subscription – Freemium Our client is a leading name in ecommerce firm based in London who provide information to both customers and businesses. Thy are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer / UX Designer to join their team on a 3 month contract basis. The role requires 1 – 2 days per week in their London based office. The role is inside IR35. You will be responsible for working alongside the Product Design teams and ecommerce teams in order to help them design their freemium subscription products. Currently they do not have a consistent approach to design.You will be responsible for understanding what they currently do – what works, what doesn’t and AB testing to prove. You will use industry best practise to create some designs in Figma that can be used moving forwards. The ideal candidate will have: β€’ Proven experience designing digital products, with case studies specifically covering e-commerce and subscription-based digital SaaS businesses. A case study with feature gating would be preferred. β€’ Strong UX and UI design skills, with the ability to take an idea from discovery to delivery β€’ Comfortable with ambiguity, able to frame and define problems and explore different options β€’ Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work across teams and senior stakeholders β€’ Fluent in Figma and other whiteboarding or prototyping tools β€’ Strong understanding of freemium models and how to design experiences that drive conversion and retention β€’ Experience planning and conducting user research, β€’ A commercial mindset, with an appreciation for balancing user needs and business outcomes β€’ Familiarity with experimentation, analytics, and measuring design impact Please apply with a current CV in the first instance.
