Role description
At Squarespace we empower our product teams to solve hard problems β customer and business problems β in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. As a Product Manager, you will contribute to your product team with a knowledge of business constraints, an understanding of our users, and awareness of product trends.
Within our Marketing Tools group, the CRM team helps merchants connect with their customers by providing them with a 360 view into their data. With our CRM, users will be able to reach the right customer at the right time, with minimal effort. They'll be able to send the perfect message, whether it's a welcome email to a new lead, a follow-up to a recent purchase, or a special offer to their most loyal customers.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will craft the CRM strategy and tactical roadmap to drive our shared Commerce and company goals. You have an interest in marketing, the customer lifecycle, and building products that help merchants retain customers.
As a senior-level individual contributor, you will report directly to the Group Product Manager and work from our NYC headquarters (hybrid 2-3 days per week).

β’ Create and prioritize a roadmap rooted in data, informed by multiple sources and justified by return on investment
β’ Guide product developmentβfrom conception to launchβwith consideration for more than just your specific team, but also adjacent teams and the broader Marketing Tools group.
β’ Be a single, mutually supporting-force with your partners in design, engineering, UX research, and product analytics
β’ Partner with internal teams to launch new features, with customer operations to develop excellent support for merchants, and with analytics to monitor engagement and evaluate product success
β’ Independently shape your team's goals and vision given a strategic direction, and determine the methods and procedures to manage new assignments
β’ Work with other PMs and data partners (analytics, data science, marketing) to seek out answers to data questions that impact multiple teams
β’ Contribute to OKRs, team and product strategy, vision, and roadmap
β’ Influence and inform team/group strategy through passionate and well-reasoned presentation of ideas
Who We're Looking For
β’ 4+ years of experience in product management
β’ Previous experience building CRM or similar marketing products is preferred but not required
β’ A nuanced understanding of the methods of modern product discovery, product delivery, and user segmentation
β’ Ability to take a vague problem, research and prepare a compelling proposal for action that will drive key outcomes
β’ Experience leading cross-team research studies
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to align different teams around achieving business goals and outstanding user experiences

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
