Role description
Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop and drive Digital SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and visibility for our products and services. β€’ Partner with content, merchandising, and digital marketing teams to optimize product pages, category pages, and blog content. β€’ Manage on-page, off-page, backlinks and technical SEO best practices. β€’ Lead initiatives to improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first performance across digital platforms. β€’ Collaborate with vendors, developers, and IT to identify bottlenecks (JavaScript, caching, CDN usage, image optimization). β€’ Monitor, analyze, and resolve performance issues impacting SEO and customer experience. β€’ Identify and track high-traffic and high-conversion pages to ensure content, keywords, and internal linking are fully optimized. β€’ Evaluate tools and implement processes to provide ongoing measurement and reporting of speed and SEO health. β€’ Ensure vendor-delivered insights translate into actionable improvements. β€’ Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Lighthouse, SEMrush, Ahrefs, GTMetrix, and WebPageTest to measure site performance. β€’ Track organic traffic growth, rankings, conversion rate improvements, and site speed metrics. β€’ Present clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or related field. β€’ 5+ years of experience in SEO, site performance optimization, or technical digital marketing. β€’ Hands-on experience with Core Web Vitals, page load optimization, and technical SEO audits. β€’ Strong knowledge of retail/eCommerce environments and how SEO drives product discoverability. β€’ Ability to analyze high-traffic content/pages and optimize for maximum SEO impact. β€’ Stong knowledge on with UI/web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms, CDNs). β€’ Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite / Adobe Experience Manager for image and media optimization. β€’ Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendor engagements. β€’ Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
