Role Overview My client is looking for a talented Shopify Liquid Developer to join their team. You’ll play a key role in building, customising, and optimising Shopify storefronts, working closely with their design and strategy teams to bring cutting-edge digital experiences to life. Key Responsibilities • Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Implement responsive, user-friendly, and high-converting eCommerce experiences. • Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/Sketch files into fully functional Shopify stores. • Optimise websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility. • Integrate apps and third-party services into Shopify stores. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring seamless functionality across browsers and devices. • Stay up to date with Shopify platform updates and eCommerce best practices. Requirements • Proven experience as a Shopify developer with strong Liquid expertise, ideally in an agency environment. • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). • Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations. • Knowledge of Shopify Plus and advanced customisations is a bonus. • Strong eye for detail and ability to collaborate with creative teams. • Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects. Nice to Have • Experience with headless Shopify builds (Next.js, React, etc.). • Familiarity with eCommerce CRO and analytics.
