What this job involves:
As a Sourcing Manager at JLL, you'll serve as a strategic subject matter expert driving procurement excellence across the organization while supporting e-commerce initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. This pivotal role requires you to collaborate closely with JLL sourcing teams, facility management professionals, and property management groups to deliver immediate and long-term benefits to our clients. You'll develop and implement regional and national sourcing programs while conducting market trend analyses that inform strategic decision-making. Your expertise in supplier relationship management, contract lifecycle governance, and compliance oversight will directly contribute to JLL's ability to provide exceptional value to clients while maintaining rigorous standards for risk management and ethical practices. What your day-to-day will look like:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and supplier relationship management programs
• Conduct market trend analyses in specific procurement categories, evaluating supplier bases and industry changes to provide actionable insights to Supply Chain and business stakeholders
• Manage RFP/bid processes, providing guidance to operations teams while ensuring compliance with JLL and client sourcing policies and risk management protocols
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, including managed agent contracts, working closely with Corporate Legal and Risk Management
• Lead preferred supplier performance review meetings to maintain accountability and drive continuous improvement
• Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives and optimize digital procurement platforms
• Establish work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues with operations teams to ensure client and customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, particularly v-lookups and pivot tables for manipulating large data sets
• Experience with online bid and contract management platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience with RFP and/or Work Order systems
• Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
• Background in supplier relationship management and performance programs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field
• Previous experience in corporate procurement or sourcing within commercial real estate or facilities management
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry benchmarks
• Experience with e-procurement systems and digital transformation initiatives
• Background in contract negotiation and supplier performance management
• Project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Understanding of global sourcing principles and international supplier management
