Role description
Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? This role is currently based at our Minneapolis office and will transition to our new headquarters in Dayton, MN, in 2027.
The Senior CX and Ecommerce Analyst plays a crucial role in reporting on digital product objectives and key results, optimizing website performance and enhancing user experience through data analysis. In this role you will be responsible for deeply analyzing, social media engagement, lead generation metrics, web traffic, user behavior, extracting actionable insights and providing strategic recommendations to inform digital strategies, improve user experience and optimize website performance. You will collaborate with digital product managers across the marketing and IT teams.
What You Will Do At Graco
Analytics and Reporting
• Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics to unlock key insights and opportunities for improvement using tools like Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Report on website objectives and key results with data related to traffic and conversions to key stakeholders and leadership team on set cadences. Understand when and how to automate reporting needs.
• Show the value of ecommerce efforts to stakeholders around the organization and gather feedback for additional insights and reporting needs.
• Proactively mine website data to identify insights into underlying drivers of current trends and patterns.
• Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to develop comprehensive and standardized dashboards to present key metrics and trends in a clear, engaging manner that supports strategic decision-making.
• Act as the subject matter expert for tag management, to implement and manage complex setups across multiple campaigns while maintaining an elevated level of accuracy in measurement.
• Concisely and clearly report findings to wide range of business stakeholders to drive One Graco business strategy.
• Support ad-hoc marketing function querying and analyses as well as other duties as assigned.
Tools and Data Management
• Deliver web tracking capabilities across all digital platforms using Adobe Experience tools, providing detailed measurement of performance, data collection, and insights, to stakeholders.
• In partnership with the internal development team, manage the roadmap, testing, and further customization of the company’s proprietary data layer to deliver improved tracking and ensure needs are being addressed appropriately.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Manage assigned analytics requests, refinement and communication to stakeholders on status and time to completion.
• Work with SEO, social media, web design, and other experts to analyze trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with web, ecommerce, product information, and digital marketing teams to define data needs and develop strategies to improve site performance.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics tools and data accuracy.
What You Will Bring To Graco
• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a web analytics or digital marketing analytics role.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics (preferred) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to query, join, calibrate, and analyze multiple data sources.
• Understand search engine optimization (SEO) and paid media and how they impact overall website KPIs.
• Experience with A/B, multivariate tests, and personalization experiments (Adobe Target) and analyzing subsequent results.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and data science methods such as regressions, clustering, decision trees, random forests, etc.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations, customer behavior, or market dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
