A Brief Overview
The Sr. Planner, Omnichannel is responsible for Retail Planning across all DTC (Direct to Consumer) channels. This role is responsible for managing the ASICS brand for Brick and Mortar, owned E-commerce website and marketplaces. The Sr. Planner, Omnichannel works in close collaboration with the Buying team by managing open to buys and key item plans to ensure inventory levels are appropriate to hit financial targets.
Leadership Responsibilities

What You'll Do
β’ Manage category Open to Buys for Brick and Mortar and E-Commerce. Lead formal OTB meetings once a month with Buying Team to discuss financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
β’ Create and maintain detailed key item forecasts to maximize sales and inventory levels
β’ Partner with Buying Team for in season management of sales and inventory including promotion planning and analysis, markdown proposals, and exit strategies
β’ Meet with the Buying Team on a regular basis to review assortments for upcoming buys and ensure the product strategies align with financial plans
β’ Meet with Marketplace and Demand Generation teams regularly to provide input on appropriate pricing, promotion, assortments, and inventory
β’ Responsible for creating and maintaining pre-season financial plans as it relates to merchandise management including sales, inventory, markdowns, margins and turns for all channels
β’ Takes the lead in the standardized and ad hoc report creation and modification for DTC team to help drive sales and inventory analysis
β’ Adheres to all company policies and procedures
β’ Embodies and demonstrates company ethics and values
β’ Abides by all federal, state and local laws

β’ Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
β’ Ability to present plans and results to senior management in a concise and professional manner
β’ Self-driven and capable of problem solving independently and with cross functional teams
β’ Knowledge of resource allocation, planning, and assortment strategies to increase gross margins
β’ Thorough knowledge of, and passion for, athletic industry trends is a benefit
β’ Understanding multiple brands and their current strategies that compete with ASICS
What You'll Need
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a relevant business field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
β’ 3-4 years experience working in a merchandising, buying, or retail planning/allocation position in a corporate retail environment, including digital and/or Omnichannel retail
β’ 1-2 years working within a Retail Planning position required
β’ Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills required
β’ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
β’ SAP experience preferred
β’ Knowledge in retail planning systems preferred
SALARY / PAY RANGE: Min: $72,000 Max: $80,000
