Job Summary We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help lead the evolution of our e-commerce platform. You’ll play a critical role in stabilizing and optimizing the purchase funnel—from product discovery to checkout—ensuring fast, reliable, and high-converting user experiences across web and mobile. As a senior team member, you’ll help drive implementation decisions, lead by example in code quality and practices, and mentor junior engineers. Your Key Job Functions • Lead developmenton the ecommerce platform focusing on performance, stability, and observability using TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS • Design and implement modern, maintainable solutions that support both web and mobile app user experiences • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, IT and agency partners to ship high-impact features quickly and iteratively • Mentor junior developers, review code, and champion engineering best practices to strengthen the internal team’s capabilities • Own operational excellence through CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Agile delivery, and observability tools like New Relic to ensure uptime, reliability, and insight into platform health What You Bring To The Team • Experience building scalable, performant web applications with React, Next.js, and Node • Proven success optimizing conversion funnels and improving user experience at scale • Strong design thinking with a focus on reliability, observability, and continuous delivery • Excellent communicator who thrives in a hybrid, collaborative environment • A growth mindset and desire to elevate those around you through mentorship and leadership Why Brinker Eat Free at Chili’s!
