Our mission is to better patients' lives through innovative healthcare solutions. With a team of 300 professionals across various specialties, we've built scalable pharmacy, telemedicine, and e-commerce platforms using cutting-edge technology. As we continue our accelerated growth trajectory, we're launching new products to expand our patient base and accelerate growth. Join us in tackling exciting challenges at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
As a Staff Engineer, you’ll work closely with our CTO and cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale high-impact features across key business areas. You’ll be instrumental in shaping our tech architecture and mentoring fellow engineers. We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to work in the office, not just tolerates it.
What You'll Do
• Architect, design, and develop features for pharmacy operations, e-commerce, and telemedicine systems
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code with strong test coverage
• Perform peer code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help define technical direction
Technologies We Use
• Programming Languages: TypeScript, SQL, JavaScript, Python, Go
• Databases: SQL and no-SQL, Big Query
• Frameworks, Key Libraries, and Runtime: Angular, Node JS, AWS Chime, Free Switch
• Infrastructure: Google Cloud, AWS, and on-premises servers
• Project Management: Azure DevOps
What We’ve Built
• Telemedicine Platform: Proprietary system with EHR (electronic health records) integration, web-based video calls, and SIP-to-web voice conversion
• Pharmacy Software: Scalable system handling high-volume prescription fulfillment
• E-commerce Engine: Includes integrated shipping, payments, email, and more
Qualifications
• BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, Economics, or other highly quantitative disciplines, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of core computer science principles, including algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency in at least one or more modern programming language such as TypeScript, Python, Go, JavaScript, C++, or Java
What Sets You Apart
• You’ve written significant, non-trivial code in real-world environments
• You frequently design creative solutions to complex engineering problems
• You thrive on architecting systems, building internal tools or libraries, and evaluating new open-source technologies
• You’re comfortable breaking down and implementing large-scale features from scratch
• You either know or can quickly learn standard computer science algorithms (e.g., graph traversal, sorting)
• You’ve developed deep expertise in at least one programming language and know its ins and outs
Why Join Us
• Compensation: Highly competitive (200K+)
• Impact: Core member of our small, high-leverage engineering team
• Growth: Work directly with leadership and help shape new product launches
• Innovation: Operate at the cutting edge of both telemedicine and software engineering
Interview Process
• HR Interview: Initial virtual conversation
• Take-Home Assessment: One-hour technical test
• Technical Interview #1: Algorithms-focused
• Technical Interview #2: Additional algorithm round (if needed)
• Final Interview: On-site with CEO and CTO
Perks
• 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, Vision premium coverage plus Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance
• 401K with company match to secure your future
• Paid time off and company-paid holidays to help you unwind
• Enjoy free daily lunch to keep you energized and focused
We are looking for top talent that wants to make a measurable impact in an exciting, fast-paced environment in our Austin, TX office (fully onsite).
