Sope Creek Capital is a family office based in Atlanta, GA, founded in 2018 by Kevin Nolan, a serial entrepreneur who has founded multiple $1B+ supply chain service companies. After his entrepreneurial success, Kevin established Sope Creek Capital to partner with a young, ambitious team and invest in private markets with a focus on supply chain services. We invest as generalists through co-investment strategies, direct early-stage supply chain technology investments and majority investments into lower middle market businesses. Currently, we are scaling Road Warrior Companies, a buy-and-build portfolio company in the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts distribution and repair space. Road Warrior Companies includes CTTP (cttpinc.com) and Fleet Services Inc. (fleetservicesinc.com). The Strategic Operations Associate will be fully focused on the Road Warrior portfolio company initially.
Position Description
Sope Creek Capital is seeking a Strategic Operations Associate to join our operations and value creation team. This role is pivotal in driving key strategic initiatives and operational excellence across all functional areas of Road Warrior, working closely with C-Suite executives and the investment team at Sope Creek Capital. You will help scope and implement value creation projects throughout the investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
β’ Coordinate and support value creation and strategic initiatives with the value creation and investment team (strategic planning, direct implementation and timeline management)
β’ Support and help formalize playbooks / repeatable toolkits and best practice capabilities for the Company and Sope Creek Capital
β’ Develop a proficiency in the Companyβs ERP system, NetSuite, to assist in analytics and integration of additional add-on acquisitions
β’ Assist with enhancements and go-to-market strategy of newly built ecommerce platform
β’ Assist in implementation of new value creation technologies including CRM and business analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
β’ Contribute to business analytics, dashboard development, and regular reporting drive data-driven decisions as well as assist with quarterly board presentations
Skills & Characteristics
β’ Passion for execution and implementation, not just ideation
β’ Strong financial and analytical skills including basic accounting, complex data manipulation, Excel, PowerPoint. Modeling experience is a plus
β’ Intellectually curious. Eager to learn new concepts and technologies independently
β’ Able to distinguish between issues that need team collaboration and those that can be resolved independently through research and problem-solving.
β’ Clear and effective communicator. Able to simplify complex topics in a simple and understandable manner
β’ Excited to work alongside a small, entrepreneurial, energetic executive team throughout the investment lifecycle. Embrace being judged on results
β’ Low ego, consultative, and able to influence through data and analysis
β’ Project management experience

β’ Bachelor's degree required
β’ 1-3 years of management consulting experience; or equivalent experience
β’ OR; 3-5 years of corporate FP&A or accounting experience
β’ Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Compensation
β’ $90,000 to $100,000 annually
