A Day in the Life of the Supply Chain Manager
As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be the strategic and tactical leader for the end-to-end supply chain. From inventory planning to last-mile delivery, your expertise ensures that customers receive their care packages on time and in perfect condition. You'll lead a cross-functional team, drive key KPIs, and implement systems that support scalability and cost efficiency as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities include:
• Own and manage the full supply chain cycle for e-commerce and DTC operations
• Lead warehouse operations, procurement, logistics, and fulfillment teams
• Oversee demand forecasting, seasonal inventory planning, and safety stock management
• Collaborate with 3PL partners and optimize last-mile delivery strategies
• Reduce freight, packaging, and procurement costs while improving service levels
• Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs (OTD, inventory turns, etc.)
• Leverage ERP and OMS tools (e.g., NetSuite, Shopify) to streamline operations
• Integrate supply chain tools with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.)
• Implement strategies tailored for cold chain logistics or perishable product fulfillment (a plus!)
Requirements and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management for e-commerce or DTC brands
• 3+ years of experience of leading and developing a team (warehouse, procurement, or logistics teams)
• Proven expertise in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and order fulfillment
• Hands-on experience with ERP, OMS, and e-commerce integration tools
• Demonstrated success managing cost control and hitting key supply chain KPIs
• Knowledge around 3PLs, inventory planning, last-mile logistics, and order fulfillment
