Role description
We are seeking a Taxonomy Analyst / Search & Content Optimization Specialist to join our Digital Merchandising team on a contract basis through the busy holiday season. This role will be critical in managing reporting, optimizing search and browse functions, and supporting taxonomy and system updates. You will ensure customers can easily find products online while supporting key seasonal campaigns and initiatives.Β Key Responsibilities β€’ Conduct weekly reporting pulls across onsite search, browse behavior, AI shopping tools, Adobe dashboards, Stylitics, and trending metrics. β€’ Support search and browse boosting for marketing campaigns, holiday promotions, and Black Friday events. β€’ Assist with the Holiday Lookbook taxonomy build, ensuring onsite search matches the lookbook and products are properly boosted. β€’ Build and maintain rendering templates for content, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy. β€’ Address data governance requests, ensuring product attributes are accurate, consistent, and compliant. β€’ Perform facet cleanup on new category pages to improve customer filtering and navigation. β€’ Provide hands-on system management support, troubleshooting and maintaining accuracy within taxonomy systems. β€’ Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and IT partners to align taxonomy with business priorities. Qualifications β€’ Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and optimization (Adobe dashboards or similar tools preferred). β€’ Experience with search/browse tools, taxonomy management, or AI-driven shopping platforms. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects. β€’ Strong organizational and communication skills to work across teams. β€’ Prior retail or e-commerce experience highly preferred. Additional Information β€’ This is a W2 contract position; C2C and third-party candidates will not be considered. β€’ No sponsorship is available; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction. β€’ Candidates must be available to work East Coast business hours; preference given to those currently located on the East Coast.
