Role description
The Senior Designer is a hands-on design role for individuals with a refined sense of typography, strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium. This role is responsible for the concept and design of all digital content, from home and landing pages, to marketing emails and digital campaigns. Must be able to maintain consistency and explore how to evolve the brand. Role Responsibilities β€’ Create visual assets for all of Terrain’s digital channels including web, social media, apps, banners, emails, etc. β€’ Work the rest of the Digital Content team in developing and evolving the look and feel of the Terrain brand online; as well as establishing style guides and internal documentation. β€’ Pull swipe and build mood boards, to visually explore digital experiences and content. β€’ Initiate collaboration with art directors, merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists in the production of consistent and captivating brand messages. β€’ Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the digital space, staying up to date on best practices, and basic UX. β€’ Manage design team both Junior designer and freelance talent Role Qualifications β€’ + 4 years of digital design experience in the ecommerce, retail, or agency space β€’ Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design β€’ Fluency in industry standard software suite; especially Photoshop + Illustrator. β€’ Knowledge and understanding of interactive capabilities and best practices. β€’ Experience in graphic design for the digital landscape is required. β€’ Past experience in retail or home related industry is a plus. β€’ Strong typography skills. β€’ Collaborates with partners to ensure messaging is on brand and clear. β€’ Thrives and innovates under challenging deadlines, while remaining a team player.
