Somerce is a social commerce agency specialising in TikTok Shop. We help brands unlock the power of live commerce, short-form video, and influencer-led marketing to drive revenue on social platforms. As one of the fastest-growing agencies in this space, we're now looking for a dynamic and versatile individual to join us as a TikTok Live Executive. This hybrid role blends live moderation, occasional hosting, and campaign management - perfect for someone who's confident under pressure, highly organised, and passionate about TikTok Live commerce.
What You'll Be Doing
Live Moderation & Hosting
• Moderate Live Sessions: Oversee live chats, manage flash deals, answer questions, and ensure a smooth, engaging viewer experience
• On-Camera Hosting (as needed): Step in to present or co-host TikTok Live shopping sessions in an energetic, professional, and brand-aligned way
• Real-Time Adaptation: React to live challenges (stock, tech, or audience behaviour) and communicate updates to the host and Somerce team instantly
• Sales Support: Drive conversions by highlighting key product features, nudging deals, and guiding audience attention
Campaign & Client Management
• Campaign Execution: Plan and deliver live sessions in line with client goals - from sourcing and briefing hosts, to scripting and scheduling.Client Liaison: Support with live commerce activities, building strong client relationships and ensuring brand alignment
• Strategy Input: Tailor live strategies per client based on goals, target audience, and industry trends
• Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, Paid Media, Content, and Studios teams to deliver integrated campaigns
Reporting & Insights
• Performance Tracking: Monitor live KPIs such as GMV, conversions, and engagement
• Data Analysis: Provide clear insights and recommendations to improve live performance
• Competitor Research: Stay up to date with TikTok Live trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Leadership & Growth
• Team Guidance: Support and mentor junior moderators, freelancers, or hosts as needed
• Innovation: Proactively suggest new live formats, features, and opportunities for clients
• Ownership: Take responsibility for the smooth execution of live sessions and campaign success.
Requirements
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable both behind the scenes (moderation, operations) and occasionally on-camera
• Strong understanding of TikTok Live, social commerce, and audience behaviours
• Quick thinker with the ability to adapt in high-pressure, real-time environments
• Analytical mindset with the ability to report on performance and extract insights
• Flexible availability - must be free for occasional evening shifts/weekends
• Willingness to work in person during live sessions.
