Role description
Urban Outfitters is hiring a Digital Analyst who will provide ongoing and ad-hoc data reports and insights to key digital stakeholders to optimize the digital experience. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports, automating and standardizing performance metrics and providing strategic recommendations to key digital stakeholders. This position optimizes website performance and informs product and marketing performance by analyzing data and providing insights, and actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Role Responsibilities β€’ Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual reports, as well as executing ad hoc requests. β€’ Proactively identify, prioritize and conduct analyses that drive meaningful change on key objectives established by the UO leadership team. β€’ Automate and standardize business processing to improve efficiency. β€’ Understand and interrogate data via Google BigQuery (SQL) and Google Analytics (GA4). β€’ Conduct quality assurance of others’ SQL scripts and analyses. β€’ Analyze site/app performance metrics , determining which factors lead to subscriber acquisition and retention. Inform Google Analytics tagging requirements. β€’ Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders , translating data into insights. β€’ Work with stakeholders to understand the meaning and intent behind their questions, not just perform question and answer services. Partner with Stakeholders to inform strategy. Role Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: β€’ Experience : 1+ years of relevant experience on a Digital team, E-commerce highly preferred β€’ Primary Technical & Statistical skills: Intermediate-level experience with SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data. Demonstrated strong ability to QA & interrogate queries to resolve bugs. β€’ Secondary Technical and Statistical Skills: Experience with Site Analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, data visualization tools (ie Tableau) and Microstrategy preferred. β€’ Cross-Team Player : Must be an exceptional collaborator, with demonstrated success working in an integrated cross-functional team environment.
